This course provides a structured and in-depth introduction to fire safety principles and egress planning within buildings and project environments. Participants will explore the fundamentals of fire dynamics, common causes of fires, and the factors that influence fire spread, smoke movement, and occupant safety.

The course places strong emphasis on evacuation planning, including exit design, travel distances, signage, human behavior during emergencies, and coordination during evacuation events. Through applied examples and scenario-based discussions, participants learn how to identify deficiencies in fire and egress arrangements and how to support safer environments through informed decision-making.
